Why the Pals exist

It started with one child and a fear of water

The Glo Pals were inspired by a child with autism whose mother used the technology behind Glo Pals to help him overcome his fear of the bath. His story shaped the characters and the mission — engage children in sensory exercises, and brighten bath time. Each Pal celebrates the things that make all of us one-of-a-kind.

From sketch to shelf

Every Pal starts on paper

We concept, sketch and personality-test each Pal in-house. Here's where they come from.

    A personality first

    Before a color or a shape, we decide who this Pal is and what they care about.

  2. 02

    Sketches on paper

    Dozens of sketches - we want to ensure we always make impactful and meaningful products.

  3. 03

    Test in water

    Every prototype gets dunked. If the glow isn't obvious, it goes back to testing.

  4. 04

    Little ones decide

    We hand them over before we commit. Little ones are honest (and usually right).
