Earth Day Scavenger Hunt

written by: AUDREY CHANEY

In honor of Earth Day this year, we’ve got a Scavenger Hunt Printable for you! All you have to do is:

  1. Print it out
  2. Grab a crayon or marker to check off the boxes
  3. Get outside

One way to instill a respect for mother nature is to get your little one outside and start exploring. As mentioned in our previous Spring Activities blog post, one of the activities was to take a hike. This would be a GREAT printable to have on hand! To help your kiddo find the items on this hunt, encourage them to look high and low, deep and wide — search all around! Whenever and wherever you’re able to get outside, it’s always an adventure to get to experience the way your little one perceives the world around them and what sparks their curiosity. After all, the only way we can collectively take care of our planet is to learn how to appreciate the beauty and intricacies of it.

On this printable, your child will be searching for the following items:

  • Bee
  • Rock
  • Butterfly
  • Bird
  • Flower
  • Ladybug
  • Tree
  • Puddle

Don’t forget to share about your adventure by tagging us on socials @glopals! Let us know how you decide to get outside! What type of flower did you spot? Did you look up and see a bird flying overhead? Did you hear any buzzing bees — if so, how many?! We can’t wait to see if you’re able to mark each object off the list! Happy Earth Day, Pals!
