Each cube lasts a minimum of 16 lighted hours — only glow time counts against the battery. With proper drying between play, that's typically several weeks or more, and every cube carries a 30-day warranty.
No — they're sealed inside for safety, so little ones can never reach a button battery. When a cube's glow days are done, recycle it and pop a fresh cube into your Character.

Blow through the small slots above and below the face to dry the sensor, then rest the cube on its side. If it still glows or there's liquid in the battery compartment, contact support@glopals.com.
Cubes count as e-waste — anywhere that takes coin-cell batteries will take them. Snap a photo of your drop-off and send it to recycle@getglo.com to join our recycling program.
