How the magic works: each Light-Up Library board book hides tiny LED lights inside its pages. The Magic Magnifier™ powers them wirelessly, so when you hold it to the page, hidden art glows to life. Perfectly safe: no wires, no screens and no app.

Pop 2 AAA batteries into the back of the Magic Magnifier.

Turn it on: slide the white switch on the front to ON (version 1), or press and hold the white button on the front for 3 full seconds until the status light glows (version 2).

Press the Magic Magnifier flat against the pages as you read — hidden art lights up as you search! Not every page has lights: they loosely follow the story, and the search is the magic.

Turn it off the same way after story time. Version 2 turns itself off after about 10 minutes of inactivity.

Good to know: the lights shine in any room and look even brighter with the lights dimmed. The books don't play sounds; the fun is in the search. Step-by-step instructions are in the box.

Books and Magic Magnifier should not get wet. Wipe with a dry cloth — barely damp only if needed — and let dry fully.

Keep away from excessive heat or flame. If the Magic Magnifier dims, swap in 2 fresh AAAs.
